Super-tough, black Tritan® lids. Tritan is both BPA and BPS-free and never leaches any endocrine disrupting chemicals as with many other plastics. Tritan is the strongest and most durable plastic of its kind and can withstand high temperatures as well as being dishwasher-safe. These fit all our bru original reusable coffee cups.

Use Tips
Simple and quick to use as you pull up to open by the tab and push down to close, creating a seal with the silicone ring. The slider helps to reduce spills on your travels although the lid is not designed to be leak-proof so don’t shake your cup, turn it upside down or chuck in your bag with liquid inside! There is also a small hole in the lid to allow hot air pressure to escape and to improve liquid flow.

Tritan is both BPA and BPS-free and never leaches any endocrine disrupting chemicals as with some other plastics. Tritan is also the strongest and most durable plastic of its kind and can withstand temperatures exceeding 100 °C.
Notes
When ordering a replacement lid, you will be sent one black Tritan lid. Our former, clear ABS lids have been phased out and are not available for purchase any more.
Care
Our black Tritan lids are dishwasher safe and can also be washed by hand. You can take the lid apart by taking off the silicone ring on the outer edge and by using a teaspoon to push out the slider from the under side. If you have any questions, feel free to contact us.
